Egress Defend takes an innovative approach to detecting phishing attacks and plays a critical role in protecting organizations. As we innovate our product’s we strive towards 3 key pillars which differentiate us in the market:

  1. Empowering users to be cyber security advocates
  2. Enabling admins to do the best job possible

The Defend team is an autonomous product focused development team embracing DevOps culture. With a start-up mentality; Innovation, Research & Development are part of our culture. Your ideas will contribute to the continued innovation and development of our Defend product.

The Role

You’ll get the chance to work on a modern cloud native product which is all serverless or containerized, with a focus on innovation and utilizing modern technologies, including;

  • Fully hosted in AWS utilizing Terraform.
  • Predominantly serverless architecture using AWS Lambda, event bridge, API Gateway and more.
  • Modern C# / dotnet core
  • UI is written in ASP.NET Blazer using tailwind CSS.
  • Mongo DB database

The Person

  • The most important thing we are looking for is someone who is passionate about technology and looking for an opportunity to utilize modern technology to drive real customer value and make a difference.
  • Object Oriented programming experience and willing to learn new things, with C# being a bonus.
  • Someone who is driven and comes into work to learn and push the boundaries as part of a highly motivated team.
  • Happy to work in the Cheltenham office at least 3 days a week
