We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Technical Writer, who will report to the VP Product Management and work across functional teams to create and execute the vision for all technical documentation and work closely with the entire Product Team on UX writing.

The Role

  • Identifying and analyzing documentation needs in-product as well as support and technical documentation.
  • Curating all technical product documentation.
  • Ownership and curation of the UX Writing Style Guide.
  • Participation in project work and full involvement in product design and delivery.
  • Research and build knowledge about products, services, technology, or concepts to be documented.
  • Meet with subject matter experts to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed.
  • Working within the product team, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, designers and engineers to ensure documentation is comprehensive and accurate.
  • Defining and managing processes to streamline and automate stakeholder needs and output.

The Person

  • You will have five years in a similar role, writing professional customer-facing product content for a broad audience.
  • You will have experience of working with Product and UX teams to define and manage UX writing style guides and copy.
  • A history of being able to translate complex and technical information into clear, concise and everyday language that customers can understand.
  • A talented writer, with the ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
  • Have experience in gathering stakeholder requirements and prioritizing across multiple deliverables.
  • Enjoy collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers, marketing and business stakeholders on a daily basis in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Have high attention to detail, both spelling and grammatical.
  • Be able to think outside the box to create systems and processes that enable us to service requirements as the company continues to grow.
  • Ideally, have experience creating visuals and diagrams that facilitate understanding.
  • A motivated self-starter who thrives on driving progress and delivering results.
