Role Requirements: Second Year Undergraduate Student at a UK-based University, predicted a 2:1 or above in a Business-related or Marketing -related degree

Duration: 12 months, commencing Summer 2022

Salary: £18,000 per Annum

As Egress Software Technologies continues its path of exciting growth, we are offering the exceptional opportunity to join our Marketing team. This candidate will be an undergraduate student looking to undertake a 12-month placement in our Marketing department as part of their university degree, commencing Summer 2022.

What would I be doing as Marketing Placement at Egress?

As a Marketing Placement you will work as a part of our global Marketing department of 25 people, working with our Demand generation team, Digital team, Sales & Marketing Operations team, Corporate Marketing team and Product Marketing team.

You could find yourself launching a new product or creating a multi-channel media campaign for our cutting-edge tech brand. You could uncover invaluable insights on how our campaigns are performing by looking at things from our customers’ point of view or develop innovative new ways to reach our customers everywhere.

As a Marketing Placement you will enjoy a varied role in a fast paced, creative environment, working with experienced and motivated marketers in both London and Boston, USA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Help plan and execute the delivery of marketing activities, including email marketing (Marketo) and paid advertising activities (display, paid search and paid social), as part of our demand generation and digital campaigns
  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns, including supplying of assets, links and reporting and setting up activities
  • Assist the web team in the management of Egress.com website updates – banners, content, brand hubs, product launches and new projects
  • Implement SEO best practice to improve rankings and search metrics
  • Work with website analytics and other reporting tools to report on trends & results, to find ways to improve performance
  • Work with Salesforce to report on marketing effectiveness, through lead conversion to opportunities and sales pipeline

Who is Egress looking for?

If you are analytical, self-motivated, naturally curious with strong communication skills, then this role would suit you! We don’t expect you to have previous experience in Marketing (although previous exposure would be beneficial). You will be well-suited if you are process-minded and interested in pursuing a career in a role similar to this.

Where is the role based?

The role will be based at Egress’ headquarters in Old Street, London.

To protect the wellbeing of our employees, our company policy states that all employees must live within a 90-minute commute or be willing to relocate for the year.
