Egress shortlisted for 2015 Cyber Security Awards

Industry news

London – June 2015 – Egress Software Technologies today announces that it has been shortlisted for ‘Best Security Company of the Year’ at the inaugural 2015 Cyber Security Awards. This follows a year of record growth, industry-wide recognition and expansion of their encryption services platform into new vertical markets and regions across the UK, EMEA and North America.

The Cyber Security Awards recognise and honour organisations and individuals working to deliver innovative technology solutions designed to protect against the ever growing cyber security threat.

Commenting on the announcement, Egress CEO Tony Pepper states: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for ‘Best Security Company of the Year’ at the 2015 Cyber Security Awards. At Egress we pride ourselves on working closely with both our customers and the wider industry to ensure that our encryption services meet the genuine business and security needs of organisations faced with a growing information security and cyber threat.

“It is why we have developed an encryption services platform that enables users to secure all forms of electronic information shared both internally and externally. As a result we can offer our customers choice and control, for example; deployment, (hosted, on-premise or hybrid), email integration with Microsoft Office 365 / Google Apps or authentication and federation using ADFS or SAML2. To be shortlisted for this award represents a further endorsement of the investment and approach we are taking to encryption and information security services.”

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 2nd July at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel, London.
