Chief Executive Officer
Co-founder of Egress, Tony currently serves as CEO, overseeing all aspects of business growth and innovation. Prior to Egress, Tony held executive management positions at Reflex Magnetics, Pointsec Mobile Technologies, and Check Point Software Technologies.
A frequent technology and industry speaker, Tony holds a Bachelor of Politics degree, a Software Engineering Master’s and is a certified BCS Fellow. Tony sits on industry committees including Intellect’s Government Management and Defence & Security Groups.
Chief Technology Officer
Neil co-founded Egress in 2007 and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer, playing an instrumental role in shaping the strategic technical direction of the business, with particular emphasis on product and service development.
Prior to Egress, Neil held executive management positions at Reflex Magnetics, Pointsec Mobile Technologies and Check Point Software Technologies. A regular speaker at information security and technology events, he has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Manchester.
Chief Science Officer
John is a co-founder of Egress and currently serves as Chief Science Officer, overseeing advanced research in areas of Big Data, Machine Learning and adoption of new technologies.
Prior to Egress, John held executive management positions at Reflex Magnetics, Pointsec Mobile Technologies and Check Point Software Technologies. He has a BSC degree in Computer Science.
Chief Financial Officer
Malcolm joined Egress in 2014 as CFO, and works widely across the business to support delivery of the company’s impressive growth and international expansion.
He has spent more than 20 years working with fast-growth technology businesses, with the last 10 years in CFO roles. Malcolm is Chartered Management Accountant and holds an MBA from Ashridge Hult Business School and an MSc from Imperial College, London.
Chief Marketing Officer
Tim joined Egress as CMO in January 2018 to build a global brand and execute market-entry strategies in North America and Continental Europe.
He has more than 25 years’ experience in IT-growth businesses having been CMO at NewVoiceMedia and Mimecast, as well as SVP Marketing at RSA Security.
Chief Product Officer
At Egress, Sudeep works as Chief Product Officer with responsibility for product strategy, product management and the delivery of pre- and post-sales technical services to customers. Prior to this, he was the Global Head of Pre-sales for the Data Security division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), leading a global team of Sales Engineers. Sudeep joined HPE through its acquisition of Voltage Security, where he was part of the executive team.
A noted expert on data protection, Sudeep brings two decades of industry and technology experience in this area. His expertise spans the protection of data in both structured and unstructured data ecosystems, with an emphasis on solving real-world business problems through encryption, authentication and key management. He has an in-depth understanding of regulatory compliance standards, including the EU GDPR, PCI and NYDFS, etc. Sudeep has worked on numerous data security projects with Fortune 500 firms in the US, the UK and globally.
Axel van Drongelen
General Manager for Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg
Axel joined Egress in 2019 and is responsible for leading all Sales and Marketing operations across the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Split into three divisions, the Egress Sales Team supports new business development and channel partner growth, as well as management of existing customers already subscribed to Egress services.
Prior to joining Egress, Axel held an Executive role at Cryptagon B.V.; the BeNeLux exclusive distributor for Egress Software Technologies. In his career Axel has worked in Singapore, Australia, the UK and the Netherlands in senior management roles at fast-growing, technology-driven international companies. His passions are sailing, gliding and reading history.
Chief People Officer
Rich is Chief People Officer at Egress, having joined in April 2014 to head up the People Operations function. He possesses a strong technical background and extensive Venture Capital and Private Equity backed growth company experience in multiple countries.
After spending his early career as a software developer, then moving into technical and pre-sales management positions, Rich was the second EMEA-based employee at Kana, a Silicon Valley startup backed by Benchmark Capital and DFJ, that Goldman Sachs took to NASDAQ during the dot.com boom. Rich managed non-Sales functions of the EMEA operation through a period of rapid growth, involving four M&A transactions, before joining OpenBet as Director of Operations and later becoming VP Human Resources.
Rich is a Fellow of the CIPD and holds a degree in Computing and Informatics from the University of Plymouth.
