About the role: Orders and Billing Executive
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, proactive and customer focussed Orders and Billing Executive to join our growing Finance team at Egress! Reporting to the Orders & Billing Team Leader, you will support the wider Go to Market team, take responsibility for executing sales order processing and invoicing, as well as providing a robust credit control service. Your role is an integral part of the overall business and will require a great deal of attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to work individually and as a part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for Customers, Partners and Sales teams for transactional and administration queries
- Ensuring the accurate processing of multicurrency Sales Orders and Customer invoices
- Sending relevant customer communications (on-boarding/welcome emails, churn notifications) and automating where possible
- Assisting with all Salesforce and NetSuite related inputs from order entry to invoicing
- Management of the Orders and Accounts mailboxes and liaising with Egress departments, partners and customers to resolve any queries
- Credit control, responsible for ensuring that all funds are collected, accounts reconciled and queries resolved
- Assisting in the audit process, including the preparation and compilation of audit documentation, controls testing and liaising with the auditors
- Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc reporting for management at month end and as requested
- Other ad hoc accounting duties as required
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following attributes: -
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding levels of attention to detail, producing consistent, quality outputs
- Self-motivated and proactive - requiring little supervisory input on a daily basis
- Methodical, diligent, accurate and accountable
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Previous software industry experience (desirable)
- Previous experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite (desirable)
- Flexible and supportive to other members of the Finance team
