The log information used to create the audit trail includes recipient ID, time stamp showing when access occurred, and the network address of the computer used by the recipient.

A centralized management console can be accessed through any web browser to set up user accounts, invite users, change account settings, and set group security parameters. The Package Library for the group is also available at this web portal (switch.egress.com) which allows the security administrator to review and audit all information being shared by members of the group, including the ability to revoke access. A separate role is available for billing administration. Premium support is available to business accounts as an option.
Information owners can use Egress Switch Software-as-a-Service for an economical fee. The software is free as is recipient access. Use of Switch is based on credits, the cost to share one package with one recipient. For example, it costs three credits to share one package with three recipients, or three packages with one recipient.
